I hold a PhD in European Union law of the Law Faculty of Aix-en-Provence and work with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) since 2004. From 2004 to 2009, I served successively as a Legal Associate in the Strasbourg Representation, a Protection Officer in Eastern Chad and an Associate Legal Officer in the then UNHCR Representation to the European Union. From 2010 to 2011, I was Litigation Coordinator in the Bureau for Europe and represented UNHCR before the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), as a counsel in the case of I.M. v. France and as an advisor in the case of Hirsi and Others v. Italy. From 2012 to 2014, I worked as a Legal Associate at the UNHCR Representation to the European Institutions in Strasbourg. Since June 2014, I am the judicial engagement coordinator for Europe notably in charge of UNHCR’s third party interventions before the ECtHR and the Court of Justice of the EU (CJEU) and more generally covering cooperation and training activities with the judiciary and the legal practitioners.
