I joined the Hungarian Helsinki Committee's Refugee Programme in August 2016. I mostly work with unaccompanied asylum seeking children, representing them in the asylum procedure and making sure their rights are respected and upheld. Having been a volunteer in an orphanage in Bangkok and being a member of the United World Colleges movement, working to protect the human rights of refugees and children in particular is the best thing I can imagine myself doing.
