On the 12th of June 2023, the ECtHR communicated its case no. 25203/22. The case concerns the forfeiture of French nationality of an Algerian born applicant and the subsequent issued deportation order. He acquired French nationality by naturalisation and was imprisoned due to his alleged participation in a criminal association with a view to prepare an act of terrorism. The Court asks whether Article 8 ECHR was violated.
